All classes and group meals will be held at Newport News Marriott at City Center. A block of rooms is being held until Friday, December 8, 2017 for Guilders Weave participants at the rate of $113, two Double beds or one King. On arrival, please check in at Guilders
Weave registration to pick up your Welcome Bag and name tag. Name tags must be worn at all convention events. Registration will be
open from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Thursday afternoon, 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM
Thursday night and Friday morning 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM. Everyone will
need to check in prior to the first class.
VISITOR SHOPPING PASS
A visitor-shopping pass is available for those not registered at GW.

After checking in, join us in our hospitality suite. It will be open
at various times throughout the event and is a good place to relax
and visit with friends. Please do not take drinks or snacks from the
room. The Hospitality Room is located in Blue Point Room I.
Remember to check the message board regularly announcements, messages, and changes will be posted there (next to registration).
The Basket Swap allows participants to exchange one of their very own hand-woven baskets with another participant.
This is an opportunity to share with others. Everyone can participate regardless of skill level.
Bring your basket to the Basket Swap Table during registration and a volunteer will record and tag
your basket. Many thanks to the Deer Creek Diva’s for helping us again this year with the Basket Swap!
Please note that NO Food or drink, except
water is allowed in the classrooms. NO CELL PHONES may be used during class time. Please turn all phones "off" while in the classroom. If you
must use a phone, please leave the classroom.
The raffle drawing will be conducted immediately following the banquet
Saturday night. Tickets will be available until drawing time on Saturday at $1 each or 6 for $5, or the best deal is 25 tickets for $20.
GUILDERS WEAVE MEMORABILIA
There will be memorabilia information and an order form available online.
Memorabilia information will be included with class assignments!
BUFFET LUNCHEON and BANQUET
Your registration fee includes your buffet luncheons Friday and Saturday
AND your banquet dinner on Saturday evening. Guest tickets are available for purchase: Lunch-$24 each day, Banquet- $34 per person. After the banquet dinner we will conduct the raffle drawing and basket swap.
An optional boxed lunch will be available for Sunday. Choices include: House Salad, Turkey Croissant , Roast Beef sandwich or Veggie Wrap. All boxed lunches include:
individual bag of kettle chips,
whole fruits and a home-style cookie. The cost is $16. Please be sure you check your specific item on the order form so we know which you prefer. Water stations will be available for drinks.
Teachers and participants who have
items to sell may do so at our Marketplace. The Marketplace will
be open Friday evening from 7:00 PM till 8:30 PM. If you plan to

Our exclusive full-line vendor is Suzanne Moore’s North Carolina
Basketworks. Suzanne is a fellow guild member and will provide a variety of basketry supplies.
Vendor will be located in the Blue Point Room II.
Both chair and table massage will be offered by a qualified therapist for GW attendees. There will be a sign-up sheet available. The cost is a dollar a minute. Friday 12:00pm to 6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 6:00pm, Sunday 9:00am to 12:00pm.
